Altoona is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Altoona follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Excellent service by Diana and Eric M today at Loweβs! We had a bigger order scheduled for pick up- unfortunately one of our items was not available and Eric helped rectify the situation, cancelled the missing item, helping get us what we needed to complete our project without any hiccups!

Great selection and prices as always. Very clean and orderly store. The only thing they needed which I was looking for was one of those manual hand pumps to pressurize air to blow through a clogged shower drain. I did have to go to Harbor Freight to get one there. I did buy a GE air conditioner, bug spray for the lawn and a plastic owl to scare away certain birds.

Against better judgement, bought appliances and within a month its literally broken. Not just not working but BROKEN. Called store cant help. Called the 800 number, cant do anything even though I purchased 3 year warranty. Please dont buy appliances from here, save yourself the headache π

Their website and store policies donβt align. Their customer service personnel are not helpful and give you the runaround. I purchased retaining wall stone from their website on a Saturday. I was given an option to have it delivered next day on a Sunday for $69 which I paid for. I received my receipt and another email confirming my delivery for next day (Sunday). I was given a 12 hour window for delivery from 8am to 8pm. 2 hours before my delivery window closed I call the store for a status update. They first tell me my product has been pulled and ready for delivery. My order assigned to a driver and it would be delivered. I was asked to call back after the customer service rep wanted to email delivery for a status update. I called back as instructed and was told that Loweβs doesnβt deliver on Sunday. Darren told me their delivery is outsourced to another company similar to DOORDASH. HE WAS NO HELP. I cancelled my order. Nothing but issues with this store.

My wife and I were told that Lowes no longer accepts Madtercard for in-store purchases. The customer service associate suggested going home and buying our items online or using the app to get them because Lowes still accepts Mastercard online. I overheard the store manager explain to the customer service associate that Mastercard is a security risk to the store! Wow that's a new one on me. We left our items in the store and I went on the app to buy them and Lowes shipped them to my house in 2 days for free because I have a Lowes card. So basically Lowes paid extra to ship them (all the way from Massachusetts) to me for no real reason other than "Mastercards are a security risk".
